Composition:
Tylosin Tartrate IP – 50% w/w
Indications:
Used as an aid in managing Chronic Respiratory Disease (CRD) linked with Mycoplasma gallisepticum and Mycoplasma synoviae in poultry flocks.
Dosage:
Prevention:
Broilers - For 1000 Birds
i) 0-3 days - 10 g of Trox per day in drinking water.
ii) 22nd / 23rd day - 90 g of Trox per day in drinking water.
Layers - For 1000 Birds
i) 0-3 days - 10 g of Trox per day in drinking water.
ii) 4th week - 50 g of Trox in drinking water for 24 hours.
iii) 9-12 weeks - 150 g of Trox in drinking water for 24 hours.
iv) 16-20 weeks - 240 g of Trox in drinking water for 24 hours.
Treatment: Dose: 250 mg of Trox per kg body weight of bird for 3 days. However, the treatment can be continued for 5 days depending on the severity of infection.
Mixing Directions:
Do not add water directly onto Trox powder. Place the required quantity of Trox into a clean container. Add a small amount of water and mix thoroughly to form a solution. Dilute further as required and administer through drinking water. Prepare a fresh solution every time, just before administration.
